Digital Branding Ebook

Before I show you the rest of my media work, I'd like to present my master's thesis. The intention of this project was to assist brands in creating new perspectives & narratives in optimizing their online communities; as well as simply contribute a new perspective to the art of digital branding.  I sold it as a 28 page ebook detailing out two years of academic research on impression management in social media.  Here is a preview of some of my favorite pages. Hopefully you learn a thing or two of interest.

Dinnerland.TV

I worked on a few social media projects with Dinnerland, a multimedia production team based out of Atlanta, GA that specializes in all things digital, including but not limited to: marketing campaigns, promotional graphics, music marketing, and creative direction.  There, I helped develop another online platform called Forte Digital and created music spotlights for artist promotions. Two of our biggest clients were very popular nightclubs, where we were tasked with handling their daily social media and brand assets that show in-person and online.

I collaborated with a small team of photographers and designers, and though my contribution did not include creating these social media materials; rather, I was tasked with the systematic organization of brand assets and ensuring their daily execution.

UTCSW

The University of Tennessee College of Social Work hired me to brush up their diversity statements during civil unrest, recruit students, communicate mental health resources for students, advertise programs & clubs, and more.

Here is a small fraction of some of the posts I came up with for their webpages and social media.

The Bottom Bookstore

During my internship at The Bottom, a Black-owned bookstore in Knoxville, TN, I had the privilege of contributing to various impactful initiatives. I developed engaging social media marketing materials for Instagram and established their TikTok presence, enhancing the store’s online visibility. I also led a communications seminar for middle school girls, focusing on branding concepts for social media presence, and the creation of business cards for their businesses. My work also included creating archival exhibits that documented the rich history of The Bottom neighborhood, fostering community appreciation. These experiences have equipped me with a diverse skill set in marketing, community engagement, & education.

IG Mockups

During my graduate program, I was invited to create mockups for two prominent brands in the greater Knoxville, TN area as part of a job interview with a boutique social media management agency. I was fortunate to receive a job offer based on these mockups; however, I ultimately decided to decline in order to accept a position with the University of Tennessee College of Social Work.

Nexus 1201 Executive Suites

I worked as a community manager for a company that handles in-person & virtual office suites in Atlanta, GA.  Here, I spruced up their social media by coming up with a brand key that is still in use since I've left.  I also worked on monthly newsletters and included two examples below :)

Hotel Indigo

I had the opportunity to collaborate with a close associate, an esteemed Instagram influencer, who recently partnered with a well-known boutique hotel chain in Nashville, TN. She was commissioned to create innovative social media marketing materials for the brand. Given my expertise in electronic media and photography, she invited me to contribute to this project. Here is a selection of the images I developed and incorporated into a professional mockup. Hotel Indigo expressed great enthusiasm for the final presentation!

Ze Chrysalis

Ze Chrysalis is a networking event started by a group of my peers in college to promote local artists while simultaneously building my social media and photography services, my friend's catering service, and creating mixers for like minded creatives.  The event was a social experiment that allowed me to showcase my photography, social media marketing, creative direction, event production, and logo creation skills.  Here is an example of some of the digital archives shown on Ze Chrysalis Instagram account:
